Although the tour is not obviously partisan, the general tone of the performers is in support of Democrat candidate John Kerry. Bruce and the band perform along with R.E.M. and Bright Eyes. Bruce joins R.E.M. for "Man On the Moon". "The Star Spangled Banner" is played on a 12 strong acoustic guitar. Michael Stipe guests on "Because The Night". Starred songs include John Fogerty. All performers take the stage for the final two songs. Concert was filmed from the audience and circulates on DVD.

Springsteen's final show at the Spectrum before demolition - he has performed in the arena 32 times going back to 1973, where he was booed off stage. Next up is "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?", featuring a drum-off between Max and percussionist Everett Bradley. For it's third performance in three shows, "American Skin (41 Shots)" is dedicated to Trayvon Martin. Bruce takes a seat in the crowd and downs a bear during "Raise Your Hand".

Also in the 26-song set: "No Surrender" opens, a great pairing of "Candy's Room" and "She's The One", and the second "Talk To Me" of the tour. Final show of the first U.S. leg, next stop EspaƱa!

Main set highlights include a rare "4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) and "Seaside Bar Song," as Bruce continues to honor the Jersey Shore in the wake of the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. Ending the show is a cover of The Isley Brothers' "Shout" which has to be seen to believed - check out the video by following the link above. Tonight is the first time the song has been played at one of his shows, although Bruce had done it twice before in 1982, a club appearance at Big Man's West with Joe Grushecky and at Steve's wedding reception in New York City.
